Cute teddy bear statue and lots of fun play equipment. Beautiful rock wall, custom made play equipment, a nice small amphitheater and clean public toilets. Small Size of the park might disappoint some adults.Įnchanting, well kept park a block off the main road through Stillwater. Please checkout the photos and the area on maps before you decide to visit. Its a compact park with lot to play for kids. Parking can be tricky but usually there are spots avalible in the parking lot across the street. Has a decent variety of equipment for all age ranges. This park is worth a visit to historic Stillwater, Minnesota.Ī great park located right off the heart of downtown Stillwater. Sand pit(s), rock climbing, and exceptional slides and photographic memory making places. There is some pretty advanced climbing rocks, so watch your child.

I really like that there is only one entrance, its hard for your cold to run away. The area is fairly easy to watch kids in with only one way out. Its mostly for younger kids, ages 2 to 8 approximately. We live in Minneapolis 24 miles away by distance its not a problem as long my kids enjoy places. They played for a long period and had a good time there. My wife 2yr old son and 4yr old son loved that park.

I love this place its perfect for toddlers and bigger kids. Great for multiple kids of all ages-only one way to get in or out! Bathrooms open for use, and large sand pit area.bring your own sand toys. Great outdoor play area! Unique designs reflecting Stillwater in the playground structure. Water fountain, bathrooms, picnic tables, bike rack, stage with seating, and reserve-able room were other amenities there for those interested. My kids really enjoyed the unique play structures, climbing all over the rock walls, and playing in the sand areas. My kids (ages 9 & 10) loved it there although it is billed as a park for kids ages 7 & under. They have benches for parents to sit on and nice public restrooms to use while visiting. This is a great park to come to! Lots of different areas for kids to play including two sand pits a train Teddy bears to climb on (and take pictures with) a tree house with a bridge monkey bars etc. Hard surfaces make it to be a little more dangerous compared to other parks Has a lot to do for kids of all ages climbing, jumping, and sliding. Bring a lunch, lots of room to have a meal off to the side of the park. My 3 year old loves going down all the slides and climbing up the walls and cliffs. Kids can still play, but plan on bringing a change of clothes. The park doesnt get a ton of sun early in the morning, so be aware the playground and area can get a little slick in the beginning of the morning. If you are in Stillwater for the day and need a place to go and let your kids play and burn off some steam, this is the place to go!įun place to take the kids. There is a nice little amphitheater area for parents to sit and relax while their kids play and public bathrooms as well.

It is a particularly good playground for younger children, but I have seen "tweens" playing there as well. There is a mid-sized parking lot located just across the 2nd street from the playground. Teddy Bear Park is a wonderful park/playground located just minutes from downtown Stillwater. On nice days, parking can be tight so we drove around a couple times. There is only one entrance in and out, which makes for easy supervision. They also use astro turf and a soft rubber like material for a lot of the ground covering. There is a covered gazebo that offers shade and a very large wooden rental facility that resembles an old school that can be reserved for private events. Wooden play structures for big and small and a sand play area in front if the natural limestone wall. It was a busy day, lots of families taking pictures everywhere. Cute park! My son liked climbing on the rocks.
